Candidates draw for ballot spots

— Candidates competing in Cleburne’s May 10 city council elections gathered at city hall Wednesday to draw names to determine their placement on the ballot. In the Mayor’s race, business owner Bill Miller’s name will appear above Mayor Ted Reynolds’ name. The Rev. Kirklin Cross Sr. drew the top space for the Single Member District 4 council race over incumbent John Warren’s name.
Dr. Bob Kelly runs unopposed for the Single Member District 1 council seat, being vacated by Sonny Russell, who chose not to seek re-election.
