Cleburne firefighters perform a training exercise using the department’s compressed air foam system earlier this month at CFD’s training center. The house, an old restaurant donated to the city several years ago, had been used for search and rescue operations, said Assistant Fire Chief Keith Scarbrough. The structure had deteriorated and was no longer useful, so firefighters decided to send it off with a live burning operation.
