The definition of hope
Dear Editor:
I am writing in regards to my appreciation of the HOPE medical clinic here in Cleburne. First of all, thank you, Diane, for the long hours of helping and calling patients back to set up appointments.
I got to see the doctor that same day she returned my call. I was the last patient out of the clinic that day; therefore, Diane and all the staff put their personal lives and needs on hold to care for the community.
A big thumbs up for Dr. Elvin Adams for his compassion, energy and kindness. I must say Dr. Adams has made a difference in my life, and that was my first impression of meeting him.
He took the time to listen, care and speak to me as a human being, not just another number.
I also want to say thank you to Lisa and Assistant Pastor Dee Torres.
Even though you get a number and wait for it to be called, they took the time to visit with me, which made my waiting time to see the doctor more comfortable.
A big special thank you to Pastor Dr. Tony Torres for hearing God’s message to establish this clinic to help people in need. For every individual who donates their time to this clinic, gives and shows the definition of hope.
May God give his love, strength and blessings to you all.
