Firearms reported stolen

Three firearms were among items reported stolen in the last week, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s reports.

The seerial numbers for the firearms were unknown.

On Sunday in Crowley, an unknown person broke a window and entered the complainant’s residence without consent of the owner.

Taken were a Remington pump .22 valued at $350, a .22 revolver valued at $150, a Playstation 2 valued at $150, Playstation 2 games, $200 in silver money, a wedding ring — gold with three diamonds — valued at $1,500, and assorted rings and jewelry.

On Sept. 28 in Alvarado, an unknown person entered the victim’s residence without consent and took a .22 pistol valued at $300, 60 DVDs, 15 fishing rods and four, silver CO2 cartridges.

Also Sunday in Burleson, someone entered a building without consent and removed a “Black Jackson” flying guitar valued at $1,500 and a black Fender “Strat” guitar valued at $200.

Last Thursday in Burleson, an unknown person entered the complainant’s recreational vehicle without written or verbal permission and removed a Coleman propane grill with a black bag valued at $250, tools valued at $100, an electric cord and pigtails. The broken lock on the RV door was valued at $500.

On Sept. 24 in Joshua, two subjects broke out a window and entered an abandoned house.

Law enforcement officials were also investigating two family violence cases.

On Saturday, a suspect was operating a vehicle on a public roadway. The complainant tried to stop the suspect by walking in front of the vehicle and was almost struck.

Last Thursday in Burleson, a person intentionally and knowingly assaulted the victim by pulling the victim from the interior of a vehicle and pushing the victim to the ground, causing injury.
