Court to vote on road signs

The Johnson County Commissioners Court plans to vote on installation of road signs and the partial closure of one road on Monday.

Commissioners will discuss and vote on installing no thru truck signs on County Road 426 from County Road 317 to Farm-to-Market Road 3136.

Commissioners also plan to vote on placing additional stop signs at the intersection of county roads 605 and 605A.

Commissioners will consider closure of a 96 foot section of Creekview Road located in Precinct 2.

A vote to approve materials to be used to renovate the third floor of the Guinn Justice Center is scheduled. The unoccupied section of the center’s third floor is being renovated to house the law library and adult probation officers.

Commissioners will also vote to acceptance of a framed 1922 season ticket for the Cleburne High School football season.

The item is being donated to the county by Paul Murphy. The ticket lists the teams CHS played that year, said County Judge Roger Harmon.

The Johnson County Commissioners Court meets at 9 a.m. in Room 201 of the Johnson County Courthouse on 2 Main St. in Cleburne.
