Almost a foot of rain falls in a month

What started with a cloudburst in September has continued with a hard drizzle into October.

Between Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, according to Cleburne weather reporter Gayle White, south Cleburne received 1.38 inches of rain, putting the city at 3.77 inches since Sept. 22 and a whopping 11.46 since Sept. 10.

Other Friday morning readings were: northwest Burleson 1.40, northeast Crowley 1.63, northeast Rendon .5.
