Police warn residents of tree-trimming scam

Reports of several incidents of scams involving tree trimming and other home-related repairs have caused Cleburne police to urge residents to be wary of individuals soliciting such services.....more>>

    A court case involving the city of Keene and whether a resident has to pay for water service may go before the Texas Supreme Court, said Cleburne attorney Scott Cain.
    The case involves the city and Bret “Doc” Berkman, owner of Doc’s City RV Park.

    Law enforcement officials are seeking the person or perspons who stole 12 collectible Barbie Dolls and five bird cages, among other items, on Sunday at a shed on Texas 171 in Grandview, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

  • Local attorney charged in accident
    Cleburne attorney Harry L. Dulick, 55, was released from Johnson County Law Enforcement Center Thursday on $5,000 bail in connection with a July 6 incident in which the 1998 Ford Explorer Dulick was driving struck a Ford pickup truck with trailer driven by Brian Patterson, 40, of Burleson.
