Nationally recognized educator speaks to Hill College employees

Hill grant will help about 40 residents
A $200,000 Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board grant given to Hill College will help 40 residents without high school diplomas or GEDs earn high school and college credits.

Cleburne board passes Hill College tax increase Monday
The tax increase Hill College asked for in August was in jeopardy at Monday’s Cleburne ISD special called meeting. Seven of eight Johnson County districts asked to increase taxes had already approved the tax hike, but two CISD board members could not agree on a final vote in favor of it.

Hill College accreditation reaffirmed
At its June meeting, the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools reaffirmed Hill College’s accreditation with no follow-up reports required. Hill College worked on its reaffirmation for nearly three years.
