Southwest Properties and Construction of Godley is sponsoring design the park contest for Godley schoolchildren.
The winner will take home an Acer netbook.
Contestants must create and design a city park for Godley on 11 by 14 manila paper. They may use crayons or paint, and their designs must include swing sets, a skate park, a water park and a Christmas tree.
The park must be named, and on the back of the entry, constestants must provide, in order, their name, homeroom teacher’s name, parents’ name, grade and phone number.
Deadline for submissions is noon Friday, and entries must be turned in at the main office of any Godley ISD school.
Entries will be judged on creativity and following directions. Prizes will be awarded May 9 at the city park in Godley.
