The Texas Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club held its 89th annual BPW Texas State Conference recently at Fort Worth/Dallas airport Marriott South.
Cleburne Area BPW members were among 150 members who attended the gathering.
Cleburne President Debbie Lockhart received the President of the Year award from the state.
The Caduceus Award, which is presented to members who mentor other members and new members, was given to Carol Short.
Cleburne Area BPW recognized Tina Pollock for her status as Woman of the Year 2008-09.
Cleburne Area BPW also recognized Esse Smith with a plaque for public relations and the newsletter she produces for the club.
