JISD board to examine student policies

— Joshua school trustees will consider the student handbook and student code of conduct for the 2009-10 school year at their regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Monday in the board room at 310 E. 18th Street.
Action items also include nomination of a TASB board member for Region XI, bids for middle school track surfacing, TASB policy update 85, a utility easement on school property adjacent to Henderson Street for the Johnson County Special Utility District, and a utility easement on school property adjacent to Farm-to-Market Road 1902 for the Johnson County Special Utility District.
In a workshop beginning at 5:30 p.m., trustees will discuss construction projects, superintendent’s reports and the 2009-10 school budget.
