A sixth earthquake hit Cleburne at 10:30 p.m. Friday, according to a press release from the city. It was classified as a 2.2 magnitude event by the USGS.
911 operators with the Cleburne Police and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office received calls reporting the event.
The exact location has not been determined. Reports from residents feeling the quake came from south Cleburne and south of the city of Cleburne.
As with five previous quakes in the area this month, there are no reports of damage or injuries.
Southern Methodist University seismic equipment is in Cleburne to record any earthquake activity.
