School board, Place 6: Incumbent M.J. Larrison faces Harry Shaffer
School board, Place 7: David Callender, Tolin Navarrete and Jay Wilson are vying to replace Brad Mead, who chose not to seek re-election.

Johnson County ESD tax increase vote
This election, open to all voters except those residing in Cleburne and Burleson, calls for increasing the Johnson County Emergency Services District No. 1 ad valorem tax rate from 3 cents per $100 of property valuation to 6 cents per $100.
Voting times and locations are the same as those for the state Senate race.
Coyote Flats
This election calls for the incorporation of a new town in Johnson County to be named Coyote Flats. The area in question lies east of Cleburne and south of Keene. It includes portions of County Road 415, CR 417A and Farm-to-Market Road 2415.
Voting is open to voters residing in the affected area. Voting hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 4128 FM 3136
