Hazel Satterwhite of Grandview celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010.
On Oct. 15, 1920, Hazel Lenox Taylor was born to Clifford and Eula Elizabeth Taylor in Paris, Texas. Hazel was the fourth child out of eight children. Hazel grew up around Fort Worth and retired from the South Pacific, later the Union Pacific Railroad, after 41 years of service. Hazel is an active member of First Baptist Church.
To celebrate this special 90th birthday she was honored by a host of friends and family members at the home of her niece and nephew, Jimmy and Claudia Atlas. The party was hosted by her nieces and husbands, the Atlases and Sam and Precious Atlas-Beaver of Fort Worth, and Shelia Rolston of Houston.
