Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Rowlett celebrated their 25th anniversary on Aug. 31, 2011. High school sweethearts, they dated for two years before getting married on Aug. 31, 1986. Two years later they had their first child, Jessica Lynn Rowlett, on Dec. 25, 1988. Three years later had their second child, Aaron Lee Rowlett, on March 23, 1992.
They opened their own business in 2000, Rio Vista Hardware. In 2008, they expanded into Cleburne with Rowlett’s Hardware. In 2010, they again expanded their hardware chain by buying out the hardware store in Godley, Rowlett’s Corner Post.
They have a beautiful house on 23 acres between Rio Vista and Cleburne. Their oldest child just graduated from Tarleton State University. Conquering the world side-by-side, they have made some amazing accomplishments. With the nest empty, they plan on many more years to come.

William P. and Ida Ruth Hallman will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22, 2011. Billy and Ida Ruth are native Johnson County citizens. Billy grew up in Grandview while Ida Ruth is a native of Cleburne.

Glendon and Patricia Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22, 2011, with a cruise to Alaska and Canada. Glendon and Patricia were honored with a family celebration dinner at Saltgrass Steakhouse in Fort Worth by their children after they returned from their cruise.
