Glendon and Patricia Anderson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22, 2011, with a cruise to Alaska and Canada. Glendon and Patricia were honored with a family celebration dinner at Saltgrass Steakhouse in Fort Worth by their children after they returned from their cruise.
They have three daughters and one son, Gayla and husband, Frank McAnally, of Frisco; Kim and husband, Mike Carlock, of Cleburne; Rhonda and husband, Mark Locklear, of Joshua; and Glenn Anderson and his wife, Amy, of Tyler.
They have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Glendon married the former Patricia Moore on Sept. 22, 1961, in Cleburne. They were high school sweethearts.
Glendon retired from the Santa Fe Railroad in 1990. Patricia retired from Walmart. They enjoy their retirement by traveling with their friends and spending time with their family.
